is a Dominican hairstylist who started his career in 2005 when his wife and him, purchased “The Angel’s Beauty Salon”. Later that same year Joe Miguel, discovered a talent and love for hairstyling he had no idea he had, and began his journey with Cosmetology. Today Joe Miguel is an experienced hairstylist, Master Colorist and Curl Specialist with over 10 years of experience in the industry. He has obtained certifications from Deva Curl as a Curly Hair Specialist, and has also attended the Vidal Sassoon academy for intense color and cutting technique class in Chicago, for which he obtained a master colorist certification.

The experience that being a salon owner brings, gives Joe great pleasure and the opportunity of creativity to help his clients feel and look their very best. Joe has a passion and fire for the work he loves to do, and the transformation that he provides to his clients when they leave the salon is priceless. “El Rey de los Rizos” is a name that he has earned by his clients with the work he does and the time he takes to educate each and every person that sits in his chair.
